Cannot Log In During Maintenance

Problem

I get an error message such as:

ssh: connect to host magnus.pawsey.org.au port 22: Operation timed out

or

You must be a uniquemember of cn=Maintenance,ou=Host Groups,dc=ivec,dc=org to login.
Authentication failed.

Solution

Look at User Support Documentation to see if there is currently maintenance or an outage.  You can also check your recent emails from Pawsey.
