Visualisation Documentation

With the increasing amount of simulation data generated by current large-scale supercomputers, visualisation plays an important role in the analysis of massive data sets. Users who have large data sets may find it impossible to visualise their data using their laptop or other available computers they have locally, due to large RAM requirements or lack of a powerful dedicated GPU.

Pawsey offers various visualisation services to efficiently visualise these large data sets. Access high powered computers remotely, with Windows desktops available via the Nebula, and Linux via Setonix. The Visualisation Lab offers a collaborative space for researchers to visualise and analyse their data in real time using high powered Windows or Linux machines or your own laptop, on a large format display perfect for visualising large data sets.
