Nebula Remote Visualisation

With the increasing amount of simulation data generated by current large-scale supercomputers, remote visualisation plays an important role in visualising such massive data sets. This quick visualisation allows users to adjust their workflows without wasting time in downloading and visualising large data sets on their local machines. In certain cases, visualisation packages depend on certain operating system such as Windows. Nebula cluster enables users who require Windows based nodes, the ability to remotely visualise their data via web browser (works on mobile devices as well).

Service Highlights:

  • Access via web interface - works on mobile
  • Windows 10 based
  • Many pre-installed applications
  • Access can be requested any time of the year
  • Nodes reserved via reservation system, that is you will have the resource available during the reserved time
  • Easy data transfer via Acacia. This allows remote visualisation of you data generated on Setonix or Nimbus cloud

System Configuration:

Nebula contains 16 high-end Windows nodes (w01 ~ w16):

How to Use Nebula:

All users who wish to access nebula must apply for an allocation. See the application process at how to apply for visualisation services
