CARTA is a web based visualisation and analysis tool for astronomy. It is capable of scaling to visualise datasets in the GB to TB range. At pawsey, we run CARTA on the visualisation nodes of Setonix.  

How to get access?

Access to CARTA should be requested through help@pawsey.or.au. All users who have a current supercomputing allocation can request access to this service

Available Versions of CARTA:

The most recent stable version of carta will be available at https://vis.pawsey.org.au/carta.

The most recent beta version will be available at https://vis.pawsey.org.au/carta-test.

Launching CARTA

First, go to https://vis.pawsey.org.au/carta (or https://vis.pawsey.org.au/carta-test) and log in with your pawsey username and password:

Once Logged in you should see the main CARTA interface:
