How do I download large (multi-GB) files using the data portal?

Currently, large files can only be downloaded if you are using a Chrome or Edge browser.

The data portal uses a different method to download large files. This method will prompt you to create/pick a new download folder and prompt you to confirm that you allow the data portal to modify (download) files into it. These extra steps are built-in browser security features.
